Drones struck an oil terminal in the southern Russian city of Novorossiysk overnight, Ukrainian newspaper The Kyiv Independent reported, citing monitoring channels.
Novorossiysk Mayor Andrey Kravchenko confirmed the drone attacks in a post on Telegram. He advised residents to take shelter in rooms without windows or in basements.
Novorossiysk is among the cities frequently targeted by Ukrainian drones. The city is considered an important outlet for Russia’s exports of oil, petroleum products and grain.
In Kherson, a city on Ukraine’s Black Sea coast, a 70-year-old woman was killed after a Russian drone crashed into a residential building, Kherson Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin said on Telegram.
Three people were injured in a Russian drone attack on the village of Zolochiv in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region. Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov said administrative buildings were also damaged.
