Turkish security forces have detained 88 individuals suspected of links to the ISIS (Daesh) terrorist organization during large-scale counter-terrorism operations conducted across 24 provinces.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Turkish Ministry of Interior released official details regarding the coordinated raids. According to the investigation, the suspects were involved in transferring funds to the terrorist network through individuals associated with the organization and various front organizations operating under the guise of aid agencies.
Authorities further noted that the detained individuals utilized social media accounts to disseminate terrorist propaganda and recruit members for the group. Turkey has intensified its domestic security measures in recent years to dismantle the financial and ideological infrastructure of extremist groups operating within its borders. As a key member of the Global Coalition against ISIS, Turkey continues to carry out regular operations to prevent the resurgence of the group and ensure regional stability.
