The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared a formal message on its official social media accounts to mark the occasion.
The statement reads: "We congratulate Azerbaijan on the 108th anniversary of its Armed Forces. We salute the heroic Azerbaijani Armed Forces, who serve day and night for the stability and security of the country. We will continue to be one heart and one fist, always."
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which trace their modern history back to the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918, play a pivotal role in ensuring the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey remain deeply rooted in the principle of "one nation, two states," with the two countries maintaining a strategic alliance that includes robust military cooperation, joint training exercises, and defense industry partnerships.
