Türkiye has successfully completed the extradition of 54 individuals who were wanted under both international and national warrants. Among those extradited, 29 were sought via Interpol "red notices," while 25 were wanted at the national level.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Turkish Ministry of Interior confirmed the operation, detailing that the individuals were apprehended across various countries. Specifically, 38 were detained in Georgia, 5 in Germany, 2 in Azerbaijan, and others in Bulgaria, Austria, Ecuador, France, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Greece, and North Macedonia.
The individuals were sought for a range of serious offenses, including the illegal importation of narcotic or psychotropic substances, intentional homicide, fraud, extortion, counterfeiting, human trafficking, solicitation of prostitution, and violations of anti-smuggling laws. This operation underscores Türkiye's ongoing commitment to international judicial cooperation and its active role in combating transnational organized crime, which remains a critical priority for regional security and law enforcement agencies.
