Tramp: Xameneinin ölümündən sonra İranla razılıq asan olacaq

US President Donald Trump has stated that reaching an agreement with Tehran will be "much easier" following the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the American leader made these remarks during a telephone interview with CBS News.

According to his assessment, the strikes by the United States and Israel that resulted in Khamenei's death were "effective" and could potentially open a path for renewed diplomacy. "It is much easier now than it was yesterday, obviously. Because they (Iran) are being hit hard," US President Donald Trump said when responding to a question regarding the prospects for a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing crisis.

The US President also noted that there are "several suitable candidates" for the position of Iranian leader following Khamenei's death, though he did not provide specific details regarding the potential successors. This development comes amid heightened regional tensions and a significant shift in the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East.

The death of Ali Khamenei, who served as the Supreme Leader of Iran since 1989, marks a pivotal moment for the Islamic Republic's internal and foreign policy. As the highest authority in the country, the Supreme Leader holds ultimate power over the military, the judiciary, and the state media. The transition of power in Tehran is being closely monitored by the international community, as it may influence Iran's nuclear program, its regional influence, and its future diplomatic relations with Western powers and neighboring states in the region, including Azerbaijan.
