US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to the Iranian leadership, stating that the country faces total destruction should Tehran attempt to carry out any threats against him.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, in an interview with the News Nation television channel, President Donald Trump delivered a serious ultimatum to official Tehran regarding potential escalations.
"The Iranian leadership should not take such a step, but I have already sent the appropriate notification. If anything happens to me, we will smash everything. The entire country will be wiped off the face of the earth. I have very clear instructions regarding this," the President stated.
The head of state also criticized the previous administration's handling of such threats, suggesting that the United States must maintain a more resolute and decisive stance to deter foreign adversaries. He emphasized that any provocation against the US presidency would meet with an unprecedented military response.
This escalation in rhetoric follows previous statements by President Donald Trump regarding the necessity of political change in Iran.
