"Tottenhem" Tomas Frankı baş məşqçi vəzifəsindən azad etdi

English club Tottenham Hotspur has announced the dismissal of head coach Thomas Frank following a disappointing run of results in the Premier League. The decision comes as the London-based team struggles in the domestic standings, currently occupying 16th place.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the club's press service confirmed the departure. "Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we were committed to giving him the necessary time and support to work together on the future. However, results and performances have led the board to conclude that a coaching change is necessary at this stage of the season," the club stated in an official announcement. The board expressed gratitude for Frank's unwavering dedication and contribution during his tenure, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

Despite the domestic slump, which includes an eight-game winless streak leaving the team with 29 points from 26 matches in the 2025/26 season, Tottenham's European form remained a notable contrast. The club successfully advanced directly to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, finishing fourth in the group stage with 17 points from eight matches. Tottenham Hotspur, a staple of English football based in North London, now faces the challenge of stabilizing its Premier League position to avoid further decline in the standings while preparing for the knockout stages of elite European competition.
