Member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have signed a decision aimed at strengthening the institutional and digital potential of the OTS Secretariat. The agreement was finalized during the organization's summit, marking a significant step toward deeper integration and modernization among the member nations.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the document was signed within the framework of the informal summit. In addition to the capacity-building measures, the member states also reached a decision regarding the appointment of a new Deputy Secretary General of the organization to further streamline its administrative and executive functions.

The Organization of Turkic States has increasingly focused on enhancing its organizational structure to meet the growing demands of regional cooperation. Azerbaijan, as a founding member, has consistently advocated for the strengthening of the Secretariat to better coordinate joint initiatives in trade, transport, and digital transformation. This latest decision aligns with the "Turkic World Vision 2040," which seeks to transform the OTS into a more robust international entity capable of addressing contemporary geopolitical and economic challenges through unified action.
