Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree modifying the composition of the Central Conscription Commission responsible for the mandatory military service of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the amendment concerns the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision No. 229, dated June 14, 2016, which outlines the composition of the Central Conscription Commission and the distribution of conscripts for mandatory military service.
Under the new changes, the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance (TƏBİB) will now be represented on the commission by a deputy director rather than the executive director. This adjustment reflects ongoing administrative optimization within state bodies involved in the mobilization and military conscription process in Azerbaijan.
The Central Conscription Commission plays a vital role in the national defense infrastructure, overseeing the transparent and organized induction of citizens into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Such administrative updates are periodically implemented to ensure the efficiency of the mobilization process and the alignment of institutional representation with current operational requirements.
