The 2025-2026 academic year has officially concluded in Azerbaijan, with the traditional "Last Bell" ceremonies taking place across all general education institutions. According to the Ministry of Science and Education, these events are held on the grounds of each respective educational facility to mark the transition of students to the next stage of their lives.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a total of 116,550 students are graduating this academic year. The cohort consists of 55,954 female students and 60,596 male students.

A significant milestone is being reached in the country's liberated territories, where "Last Bell" ceremonies are being held in 25 general education institutions. Notably, 11 of these schools are hosting the ceremony for the first time since their restoration. A total of 171 students are graduating from schools in these regions, symbolizing the ongoing revitalization of education in the Garabagh and East Zangezur economic regions.

The "Last Bell" tradition in Azerbaijan has undergone structural changes over the years. Since 2015, the ceremony has been scheduled for June 14 rather than the traditional May 31 date to align with the academic calendar. While the date typically falls on June 14, adjustments are made when the date coincides with a weekend; consequently, this year's ceremonies were held on June 13 to ensure full participation.
