Bakı yollarında sıxlıq: Əsas prospektlərdə vəziyyət necədir?

Significant traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital of Azerbaijan.

As of the latest report, heavy traffic is being observed in the following areas:

  • The Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
  • Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station toward the city center;
  • Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
  • The 1st Lakeside Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.

The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow across the capital to optimize urban mobility. Such congestion is often attributed to the high volume of vehicles entering the city from surrounding districts and the ongoing infrastructure development projects aimed at improving Baku's road network efficiency.
