The headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran has sustained significant damage following targeted strikes by United States and Israeli Armed Forces. According to reports, the facility was a primary target in the ongoing military operations within the Iranian capital.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Al Hadath television channel, reports that the headquarters building was completely destroyed during the operation. Simultaneously, the US Embassy in Baghdad came under fire, with reports indicating that the primary targets were the air defense systems located within the diplomatic mission's perimeter.
The military action follows the commencement of joint operations by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28. In response, the IRGC announced the launch of a large-scale counter-operation, claiming to have targeted facilities in Israel, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. This escalation marks a significant shift in regional stability, as US President Donald Trump and Israeli leadership coordinate efforts to neutralize strategic threats. The IRGC, established after the 1979 revolution, serves as a major branch of the Iranian Armed Forces, wielding significant influence over the country's political and military landscape.
