The regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw. Norway's striker Andreas Schjelderup opened the scoring with a spectacular goal in the 36th minute. Jude Bellingham equalized for England in the second minute of stoppage time in the first half. Bellingham then scored the decisive goal in the 93rd minute of extra time, propelling England into the semifinals.
The final quarter-final match is scheduled for 05:00 Baku time between Argentina and Switzerland. The winner of this pairing will face England in the semifinals.
