Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Sahiba Gafarova has arrived in Montenegro for a working visit to attend the 1st Summit of Speakers of Parliaments of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM).
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was welcomed at Tivat International Airport by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Montenegro Kamil Khasiyev and other high-ranking officials. During the visit, the Speaker is scheduled to deliver a speech at the summit, which will be held in the city of Budva, and hold several bilateral meetings with participating heads of parliaments to discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) is a regional inter-parliamentary organization that brings together countries of the Mediterranean basin to address common challenges, including political stability, economic integration, and environmental security.
