The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a weather warning for Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, forecasting intermittent heavy rain, lightning, and potential hail. Meteorological conditions are expected to deteriorate, with intense, short-term downpours likely by the evening, accompanied by strengthening north-westerly winds.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the air temperature in the capital is expected to range between 20-23°C at night and 24-26°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is projected at 761 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels between 70-80%.
Unsettled weather is also expected across other regions of Azerbaijan. Forecasters predict intermittent rain, with localized, short-term, and intense downpours, lightning, and the possibility of hail. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, with occasional strong easterly winds.
In the regions, temperatures are forecast to be 18-23°C at night and 25-29°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 11-16°C at night and 19-24°C during the day.
