Temperatures to reach 39 degrees in Azerbaijan

Weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to remain dry on August 1, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Meteorologists noted that the north-westerly wind will shift to a north-easterly breeze during the day. Temperatures are forecast to range between 22-25°C at night and 31-36°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 769 mm Hg, with relative humidity at 70-75% at night and 50-55% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to be generally dry. However, there is a possibility of brief, light rain and lightning in some mountainous areas during the day. Fog is expected in certain mountainous regions during the night and morning hours, accompanied by an easterly wind.

Temperatures in the regions are forecast to be 22-26°C at night and 34-39°C during the day, while in the mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 15-20°C at night to 23-28°C during the day.
