RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is on the verge of continuing his professional career with Real Madrid, as negotiations between the two clubs reach their final stages.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, renowned football journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano reported the development. Romano shared an image of the player on a flight, confirming that Diomande and his representatives are currently en route to Madrid to conclude the transfer agreement.
Reports indicate that the RB Leipzig management has granted the 19-year-old Ivorian international permission to finalize the move. Upon his arrival in the Spanish capital, Diomande is scheduled to undergo a comprehensive medical examination. Should the medical results prove satisfactory, the young talent is expected to sign a six-year contract with the Spanish giants.
Real Madrid, widely regarded as one of the most successful clubs in European football history, has consistently focused on acquiring young, high-potential talent to bolster its squad. The pursuit of Diomande aligns with the club's long-term strategy of integrating emerging stars alongside established world-class players to maintain its competitive edge in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
