Rain forecast for Azerbaijan regions: Weather update for August 14

On August 14, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be primarily dry, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM. Officials noted that a north-easterly wind will shift to a moderate north-westerly wind by the evening.

Temperatures in the capital are forecasted to range between 23-26°C (73-79°F) at night and 31-36°C (88-97°F) during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in some areas. Forecasters warn of potential short-term heavy downpours, lightning, and hail, with precipitation likely to intensify in mountainous and foothill regions. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by occasional strong easterly winds.

Temperatures in the regions are projected to reach 22-26°C (72-79°F) at night and 32-36°C (90-97°F) during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 13-18°C (55-64°F) at night to 20-25°C (68-77°F) during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors weather patterns across Azerbaijan to provide timely updates to the public, particularly regarding sudden meteorological changes that may impact agricultural activities or travel in the country's diverse climatic zones.
