Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev has met with Russia's Deputy Minister of Defense Vasily Osmakov to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the meeting was held at the Russian Ministry of Defense at the initiative of the Russian side. During the talks, the sides exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
Azerbaijan and Russia share a deep-rooted relationship characterized by active political dialogue and economic cooperation. In February 2022, the two nations signed a Declaration on Allied Interaction, which elevated their bilateral relations to an allied level, encompassing cooperation in security, trade, and regional stability.
