Azerbaijan's Garabagh FK has secured a historic victory against Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt in the seventh round of the UEFA Champions League league phase held in Baku.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the match, organized at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, concluded with a 3:2 win for the home side. The goals for the Aghdam club were scored by Camilo Duran in the 4th and 80th minutes, and Bahlul Mustafazade in the 90+4 minute. Eintracht Frankfurt's goals were netted by Can Uzun in the 11th minute and Fares Chaibi in the 78th minute.
Following this result, Garabagh moves to 17th place in the tournament standings with 10 points, while Eintracht Frankfurt remains in 33rd place with 4 points. The Azerbaijani champion is scheduled to play its final match of the league phase against Liverpool FC in England on January 29.
