Putin qubernatorlarla nə danışıb?- Peskovdan rəsmi açıqlama

Russian President Vladimir Putin held discussions with regional heads prior to the decision regarding their resignations.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov provided these details while answering questions from journalists. Peskov noted that regular contact between the Russian President and the governors of Belgorod and Bryansk is a standard practice in state administration, ensuring that the transition of power remains orderly.

According to the report, Vyacheslav Gladkov and Alexander Bogomaz were relieved of their duties on May 13. Alexander Shuvayev and Yegor Kovalchuk have been appointed as acting governors for the respective regions. The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that the regional leaders remained in constant communication with the head of state, and the resignation process had been discussed in advance to maintain administrative efficiency.

The dismissal of regional leaders in Russia often occurs during administrative reshuffles aimed at optimizing local governance or addressing specific regional challenges. Belgorod and Bryansk, both bordering Ukraine, have faced significant security and logistical pressures in recent years. Such personnel changes are typically managed through the Presidential Administration to ensure stability and continuity in regional leadership during transitional periods.
