Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a meeting with Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Moscow.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from RIA Novosti, the meeting took place at the Kremlin. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing key regional issues.

During his working visit to the Russian capital, Minister Jaishankar also held talks with Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. A meeting between the Indian minister and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, is also scheduled as part of the visit.

India and Russia maintain a long-standing strategic partnership, characterized by robust cooperation in sectors such as defense, energy, and space exploration. High-level diplomatic exchanges between the two nations are frequent, reflecting their shared commitment to deepening economic and geopolitical ties within the framework of international forums like BRICS and the G20.
