President Ilham Aliyev appoints new diplomats

President Ilham Aliyev has signed several decrees regarding the appointment and recall of diplomatic representatives of Azerbaijan in various countries and cities.

According to the decrees, Cavidan Rizvan oglu Huseynov has been recalled from his position as the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By another decree of the head of state, Cavidan Huseynov has been appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Kamran Vahid oglu Mammadzada has been appointed the new Consul General of Azerbaijan in Dubai, replacing Huseynov.

Furthermore, President Ilham Aliyev appointed Elmar Eldar oglu Mammadov as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria. These appointments are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to strengthen its diplomatic corps and enhance bilateral relations with key partners in the Middle East and Europe.

Diplomatic appointments in Azerbaijan are conducted in accordance with the country's foreign policy priorities, which emphasize the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the protection of national interests abroad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) oversees the implementation of these diplomatic missions, ensuring that Azerbaijan's strategic objectives are met through active engagement in international organizations and bilateral diplomacy.
