President Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini in Shusha on July 14.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan reported that the two leaders engaged in discussions regarding the development of strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, as well as the implementation of various regional projects.
Shusha, often referred to as the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, has become a significant venue for high-level diplomatic meetings and international events since its liberation in 2020. The city's restoration and its role in hosting foreign dignitaries underscore Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to integrate the liberated territories into the country's broader economic and political framework, while fostering international partnerships.
