"We are currently supplying gas to 16 countries via pipelines. We rank first in the world in this indicator, and these capabilities will be expanded," said President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the head of state made these remarks during the opening of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.
"We are also conducting negotiations with other European Union members. Discussions are underway regarding both the initiation of supplies and the increase of volumes, and we have received requests in this regard. Today, Azerbaijan is a reliable partner, a predictable source, and compared to 10 years ago, our role is even more significant," the President added.
The Shusha Global Media Forum serves as a premier platform for international journalists, experts, and media executives to discuss the evolving landscape of global information, the role of media in international relations, and the strategic importance of the South Caucasus region. Since the liberation of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, the city has increasingly hosted high-level international events, symbolizing the country's commitment to regional stability and global cooperation.
