Azerbaijan will continue to provide humanitarian support to the people of Ukraine, President Ilham Aliyev has stated.
According to the "Operative Information Center-OMM", this commitment was expressed in a congratulatory letter sent by President Ilham Aliyev to his counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
"The existence of an active dialogue at the highest level creates a favorable basis for deepening our cooperation in various fields, particularly in trade, economy, humanitarian affairs, agriculture, and investment. We will continue to provide humanitarian support to the friendly Ukrainian people," the letter states.
"I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the interests of our peoples," the President added.
Azerbaijan has consistently maintained a balanced foreign policy while providing significant humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the onset of the conflict, including shipments of power equipment, medical supplies, and financial assistance to support critical infrastructure.
