President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Gideon Saar, on January 26 to discuss the strengthening of strategic ties between the two nations.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that during the conversation, both sides recalled with satisfaction the meeting between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Israel held in Davos a few days ago. It was noted that the Davos discussions provided a significant platform for addressing key issues on the bilateral agenda and setting future priorities for cooperation.
The meeting emphasized the successful development of relations across various sectors, including economy, trade, energy, and tourism. Specific attention was given to collaboration in agriculture, water resource management, high technologies, and artificial intelligence. Both parties highlighted that mutual visits and contacts at various levels significantly contribute to the deepening of partnership between Baku and Jerusalem. The role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission was also underscored, following its recent successful meeting.
