Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. In Azerbaijan, a country known for its multicultural values and secular governance, the holiday is celebrated as a symbol of spiritual renewal and social harmony. The end of the month is marked by Eid al-Fitr, a public holiday in the Republic, characterized by charitable acts and family gatherings, reflecting the nation's deep-rooted commitment to Islamic traditions alongside its modern development.
