The body of 16-year-old Asiman Seyidamirov, who drowned on August 6 in an uncontrolled area of the Caspian Sea near the Pirshagi settlement in the Sabunchu district of Baku, has been recovered.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of the recovery by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
According to the ministry, the body was located and retrieved by divers from the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue. The remains have since been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
The Caspian Sea coastline, particularly in areas outside designated lifeguard zones, presents significant risks during the summer season. The Ministry of Emergency Situations frequently urges citizens to adhere to safety regulations, swim only in authorized areas where rescue services are present, and avoid entering the water during adverse weather conditions or in prohibited zones to prevent such tragedies.
