Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has ordered law enforcement agencies to identify and expose individuals within their ranks who are leaking sensitive information to the opposition.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Prime Minister announced this directive during a recent press conference, referring to these internal informants as "moles."
Pashinyan issued a stark ultimatum, threatening mass dismissals across the security sector if the culprits are not identified within a specific timeframe. "I have given instructions to the law enforcement system: search, and if you do not find them within a specific period, then all of you will be guilty in my eyes. I need names and evidence. If they are not provided, I am telling you directly—there will be mass dismissals in the law enforcement divisions under my authority," the Prime Minister stated.
This development comes amidst ongoing political tensions in Armenia, where the government has faced repeated criticism regarding its handling of internal security and administrative transparency.
