Paşinyan Şahin Mustafayevin səfərini mühüm hadisə adlandırdı

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has described the recent visit of Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev to Armenia as a "very important event" in the context of bilateral relations. Speaking to journalists, Pashinyan highlighted the significance of high-level contacts between the two nations as they work toward normalizing ties.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media reports, the Prime Minister emphasized the symbolic and practical value of these discussions. "I consider the mutual visits of the deputy prime ministers of the two countries historical within the peace process. I am very glad that we have reached this stage," Pashinyan stated. He further noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia must continuously improve, stressing the need to establish "normal and long-term good-neighborly relations" to ensure regional stability.

The visit, which took place on April 29, was led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and focused on the ongoing delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This process is a critical component of the broader peace negotiations aimed at ending decades of conflict. Recent progress in the delimitation process has been viewed by international observers as a positive step toward a final peace treaty. The commissions, headed by Shahin Mustafayev and his Armenian counterpart Mher Grigoryan, have held several rounds of talks in various locations, including border areas, to finalize the technical and legal aspects of the frontier between the two states.
