Turkey announces final squad for 2026 World Cup

The Turkish national football team has officially announced its final squad for the final stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, head coach Vincenzo Montella has finalized a list of 26 players to represent the country on the global stage.

Goalkeepers: Ugurcan Cakir (Galatasaray), Altay Bayindir (Manchester United), Mert Gunok (Fenerbahce)

Defenders: Merih Demiral (Al-Ahli), Abdulkerim Bardakci (Galatasaray), Caglar Soyuncu (Fenerbahce), Eren Elmali (Galatasaray), Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton), Mert Muldur (Fenerbahce), Ozan Kabak (Hoffenheim), Samet Akaydin (Rizespor), Zeki Celik (Roma)

Midfielders: Ismail Yuksek (Fenerbahce), Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter), Kaan Ayhan (Galatasaray), Orkun Kokcu (Besiktas), Salih Ozcan (Borussia)

The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, represents a significant expansion of the tournament format.
