The next plenary session of the spring session of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan is scheduled to take place on February 10. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the agenda for the upcoming meeting includes 12 significant legislative matters.

The session will prioritize the approval of the UN Convention against Cybercrime, which focuses on combating crimes committed through information and communication technologies and enhancing international cooperation in the exchange of electronic evidence for serious offenses. Other key items include amendments to the Law on Education, the Patent Law (third reading), and the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (second reading). Additionally, deputies will deliberate on changes to the Tax Code, the Law on Banks, and the Law on Customs Tariffs.

The Milli Majlis, as the primary legislative body in Azerbaijan, regularly reviews and updates the national legal framework to ensure alignment with global standards and domestic socio-economic needs. This session's focus on cybercrime and digital evidence reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening its national security and judicial cooperation in the digital age. The discussions will also cover social welfare, including child rights, healthcare, and road traffic safety regulations.
