Numan Kurtulmuş: İsrailin təcavüzkar siyasəti qlobal sülhə təhdiddir

Numan Kurtulmus, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), addressed the NATO Parliamentary Assembly summit in Istanbul, focusing on rising tensions in the Middle East and the dynamics of cooperation within the alliance.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Kurtulmus stated during his address that the policies pursued by the Israeli government pose a significant risk not only to Palestinians but to global peace and security as a whole. He emphasized that an immediate cessation of military operations in the region is essential for ensuring global stability.

Furthermore, the TBMM Speaker criticized the embargoes imposed by certain allied nations within NATO. Kurtulmus described these restrictions as unilateral and counterproductive, noting that such measures are inconsistent with the core principles of the alliance. He called for a more equitable and unified approach among member states, underscoring the necessity of strengthening solidarity and cooperation within NATO to address contemporary geopolitical challenges.
