Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads in Baku, impacting commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest report, heavy traffic is observed in the following areas:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the 20 January metro station;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, on the service road, heading toward the city center;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the 20 January metro station toward the city center.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has seen significant infrastructure development in recent years to accommodate its growing vehicle fleet.
