The expected conditions on Azerbaijan's automobile roads have been announced.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a statement regarding the upcoming weather conditions.
According to the service, rainy and foggy weather conditions are expected to be observed in some regions of the country during the night and morning hours of March 21. Due to the forecasted weather, visibility on main highways is expected to be restricted to a range of 300-800 meters.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors atmospheric conditions across Azerbaijan to ensure public safety and provide timely alerts for transport sectors. Foggy conditions, particularly during seasonal transitions in March, are common in the mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan, often requiring motorists to exercise extra caution and adjust travel speeds to account for reduced sightlines on major transit corridors.
