In an effort to address the professional status of educators who did not successfully complete the 2026 recertification process, the Baku City Education Department has established specialized commissions to manage the next steps for these teaching staff.
According to information provided to the "Operative Information Center-OMM" by the Baku City Education Department, these commissions will be operational from July 6 to July 31.
Officials stated that individuals wishing to consult with the commission may visit the Baku City Education Department from Monday to Thursday, between 09:30 and 13:00, provided they present their identification documents.
The primary objective behind the establishment of these commissions is to organize work with educators who failed to meet the required passing score in the recertification exam. The process involves a step-by-step assessment of their professional status and an exploration of opportunities for placement in alternative job positions within the education system.
Teacher certification in Azerbaijan is a standardized evaluation process introduced by the Ministry of Science and Education to enhance the quality of instruction in public schools. By periodically assessing the knowledge and pedagogical skills of teachers, the Ministry aims to ensure that the national education system meets modern standards, fostering professional development and accountability among teaching staff across the country.
