Möhsün Paknejad: Xarici qüvvələr bölgəni tərk etməlidir

Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad has issued a statement regarding the necessity of ensuring stability and energy security in the West Asia region.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the minister stated that the establishment of long-term regional stability and the security of global energy supplies are directly linked to the withdrawal of foreign military forces from the region.

Paknejad emphasized that this step is of decisive importance for the future of the region. He further argued that reducing regional tensions and safeguarding energy security require not only the withdrawal of foreign forces but also the cessation of operations at US military bases in the area.

Tehran maintains that such measures would contribute significantly to fostering an environment of peace and stability. The West Asia region, a critical hub for global oil and gas production, has long been a focal point of international geopolitical discourse, with Iran consistently advocating for regional security frameworks led by local nations rather than external powers.
