Armenia has officially signed a framework agreement with the United States regarding the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project, with the document now prepared for ratification.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media, reports that the country's Foreign Minister, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced the development.

"I have just signed the framework agreement between the United States and Armenia on the TRIPP project," Mirzoyan stated.

The document was initially initialed by the Armenian Foreign Minister and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on May 26. Secretary Rubio subsequently signed the agreement on June 3. This development marks a significant step in the evolving diplomatic relations between Yerevan and Washington.

The TRIPP initiative represents a strategic framework aimed at fostering economic and political cooperation between the United States and partner nations. For Armenia, this agreement is viewed as a pivotal move to diversify its foreign policy and strengthen ties with Western institutions, particularly as the geopolitical landscape in the South Caucasus continues to undergo significant shifts. The ratification process will be the next critical phase in formalizing this bilateral partnership.
