The Milli Majlis (National Assembly) has convened for its next plenary session of the spring term to discuss the government's performance.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the agenda of the meeting, held under the chairmanship of Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, focuses on a single primary issue: the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2025.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov is presenting the comprehensive report to the deputies. Following the official presentation, members of the parliament are expected to hold discussions regarding the government's socio-economic achievements, infrastructure projects, and the implementation of state programs over the past year.
In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers submits an annual report to the Milli Majlis. This process serves as a key mechanism for parliamentary oversight, ensuring transparency and accountability in the executive branch's management of state affairs and the national budget. The 2025 report specifically highlights Azerbaijan's ongoing development initiatives and the progress of the "Great Return" program in the liberated territories.
