According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the agenda for the session includes 14 distinct items. Among the primary topics is the second reading of the draft law regarding the "Execution of the 2025 State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan." Additionally, lawmakers are deliberating on the ratification of an agreement between Azerbaijan and Ecuador concerning the visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports.
The session is being chaired by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova. The Milli Majlis serves as the supreme legislative body in Azerbaijan, responsible for adopting laws, ratifying international treaties, and overseeing the implementation of the state budget, which is critical for the nation's ongoing economic development and international cooperation strategies.
