Azerbaijani MPs to attend global youth conference in Uzbekistan

Shahin Ismayilov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Youth and Sports, and MP Sabina Khasayeva are set to travel to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, on September 4. The delegation will participate in the 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.

The conference will focus on critical issues, including the protection of youth rights, the advancement of economic rights for young people, and strategies to ensure youth employment. The visit is scheduled to conclude on September 6.

The Inter-Parliamentary Union's Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians serves as a significant international platform for legislators under the age of 45 to address global challenges. By bringing together young leaders from various nations, the event facilitates the exchange of legislative best practices and fosters international cooperation on youth-centric policy development, which remains a priority for the Republic of Azerbaijan.
