Pensions for May have been fully paid to residents of Baku, Sumgait, and the Absheron district, as well as the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan confirmed that the funds have been transferred to the bank cards of the recipients. The ministry further noted that pensions for other regions of Azerbaijan, as well as for individuals entitled to pensions on preferential terms, will be distributed according to the established schedule throughout the month.
In Azerbaijan, the pension system is managed by the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
