Məsud Pezeşkian: "ABŞ ilə razılaşma üçün ən yaxşı vaxtdır"

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has suggested that a significant opportunity has emerged for Tehran to reach an agreement with the United States.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, which cites the Iranian news agency ISNA, President Pezeshkian emphasized that the current political climate within Iran is conducive to diplomatic efforts.

"There is discussion regarding the necessity of reaching an agreement, and I believe now is the optimal time for such efforts, as we are observing solidarity, strength, and unity within the country," the Iranian leader stated. Pezeshkian further asserted that Iran is currently perceived as a victor in the context of ongoing regional conflicts.

The relationship between Tehran and Washington has remained strained for decades, characterized by economic sanctions and geopolitical tensions. President Pezeshkian, who assumed office in 2024, has previously signaled a willingness to engage in pragmatic diplomacy, though such overtures are closely monitored by international observers given the complex history of bilateral relations and the influence of US President Donald Trump's administration on regional policy.
