The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has issued a new statement regarding the current status of Iran's nuclear program.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, in an interview with RIA Novosti, confirmed that Iran's stockpiles of enriched uranium remain stored at nuclear facilities located within the country.

According to the information, Grossi noted that based on available data, there are "reasonable grounds" to believe these materials are indeed located at the specified sites. He emphasized that to fully verify this information, renewed access to the relevant nuclear facilities and on-site inspections are essential.

It is reported that definitive conclusions can only be reached following a comprehensive inspection process.

US officials have also made various statements regarding the matter. US President Donald Trump has expressed the expectation that Iran will agree to international inspections to ensure long-term "nuclear transparency" regarding its nuclear program.

Meanwhile, US Vice President J.D. Vance, citing the results of US-Iran talks held in Switzerland, stated that Tehran has committed to allowing IAEA inspectors access to the country.

The IAEA, headquartered in Vienna, serves as the world's central intergovernmental forum for scientific and technical cooperation in the nuclear field. It is tasked with verifying that nuclear energy is used only for peaceful purposes, a mandate that has become increasingly critical amid ongoing international scrutiny of Iran's nuclear activities and the global non-proliferation regime.
