Makron 3-5 mayda Ermənistanda olacaq: Paşinyanla görüşəcək

French President Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to visit the Republic of Armenia from May 3 to May 5.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Armenian Prime Minister's office released information regarding the upcoming visit. According to the statement, President Macron will participate in the European Political Community (EPC) summit to be held in Yerevan on May 4. The official state visit of the French leader will begin on May 5, featuring a private meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, followed by negotiations in an expanded format.

The visit is expected to conclude with a formal signing ceremony of bilateral documents and a joint press statement by the two leaders. This diplomatic engagement occurs at a time of significant geopolitical shifts in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan has consistently called for balanced and impartial international mediation in the region, particularly concerning the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan. The EPC summit serves as a platform for European leaders to discuss regional security and cooperation, though Azerbaijan maintains that any external involvement must respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all regional states.
