Scottish defender Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool Football Club at the conclusion of the current season.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media, reports that the club management has confirmed it will not renew the 32-year-old player's contract, which is set to expire in June.

During his nine-year tenure at Anfield, Robertson evolved from a promising talent into a club legend, achieving significant success with the Reds. His list of honors with the club includes:

  • Two-time Premier League champion

The renowned footballer shared his thoughts on the decision to move on:

"Leaving a club like Liverpool is never easy. This has been a massive part of my life and my family's life for the last nine years. I feel that now is the right time to move forward."

Despite finding himself on the substitute bench following the arrival of Milos Kerkez, the Scottish defender pledged to continue fighting for the team until his final day. He emphasized that he has given his heart to the club over the past nine years and noted that the fans mean everything to him.
