Laçında Azərbaycanla Ermənistan arasında elektrik enerjisinin idxalı və ixracı imkanları müzakirə edilib

On August 25, a working meeting was held in the city of Lachin between representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and Azerenerji OJSC, and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, alongside the Electric Energy System Operator company.

The Cabinet of Ministers informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that the parties discussed opportunities for the import and export of electricity between the two countries. Furthermore, the discussions explored potential technical options for coordinating the energy infrastructure of both nations at the state border to facilitate this cooperation.

This dialogue marks a significant step in regional energy cooperation, reflecting ongoing efforts to normalize relations and establish practical infrastructure links between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Such initiatives are often viewed as critical components for building regional stability and economic connectivity in the South Caucasus, following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
