Kreml: Rusiya, ABŞ və Ukrayna arasında danışıqların bərpası mümkündür

The Kremlin has not ruled out the possibility of resuming trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine to resolve the ongoing crisis. This potential for diplomatic engagement comes amid heightened international efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented on the recent diplomatic contacts held in Moscow and Kyiv by US President Donald Trump’s special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Peskov emphasized that any initiative aimed at peace is viewed positively. "Undoubtedly, any effort that is effective is a small step toward peace. In this regard, we attach great importance to the efforts of the American negotiators toward establishing peace," the Kremlin official noted. He added that the Russian side has not yet received official information regarding the outcomes of the meetings held by the US representatives in Kyiv, though he did not rule out the possibility of a future telephone conversation between President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.

The potential for trilateral talks represents a significant shift in diplomatic discourse, as international actors seek to navigate the complexities of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. While the logistics, timing, and location for such high-level discussions remain undefined, the openness expressed by the Kremlin signals a willingness to engage with the new US administration's diplomatic initiatives. Additionally, Peskov addressed broader security concerns, criticizing Norway's plans to deploy an artillery battalion near the Russian border as a threat to national security, and confirmed that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to visit Russia in the near future.
