The Israeli military has announced that Iran launched multiple missile strikes toward Israel, while simultaneously detecting a separate attack originating from Yemen. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media outlets, this marks the second attack launched from Yemen since the onset of the current conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Tehran.

On March 30, two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Yemen were successfully intercepted and neutralized. The Iran-backed Houthi movement officially entered the fray on Saturday by firing missiles at Israel, a move that significantly heightens regional instability and threatens the closure of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a critical global maritime trade route. In a further escalation, the Israeli Air Force confirmed it conducted strikes against military infrastructure in Tehran on Monday.

The geopolitical situation remains volatile as Israeli forces reportedly carried out over 140 airstrikes across central and western Iran, including the capital, by Sunday evening. Iranian state media reported hits on Mehrabad Airport and a petrochemical plant in Tabriz, while missile debris was documented falling near a chemical plant in southern Israel. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the expansion of operations in Southern Lebanon to establish a security buffer against Hezbollah forces.

The escalating conflict has triggered significant volatility in global markets. On Monday, Asian stock markets tumbled, with Japan's Nikkei index losing more than 3%. Oil prices continue to surge, with Brent crude reaching $115 per barrel. This energy spike has already prompted global airlines to increase ticket prices to offset rising fuel costs. The international community remains on high alert as the risk of a broader regional war threatens to disrupt global energy supplies and economic stability.
